Gregorian was marching along a corridor. Its walls were made of rough stone and there were no doors, pictures or any decorations. There was not a breath of air and everything around him looked torpid.
His steps were loudly echoing around him. In fact, if he stopped he could hear the beating of his heart. He did not understand why he was walking, but he knew he had to hurry.
Then, he heard a sound which was coming somehow from the stone of the walls and from the air around him It was an unlike any human speech or mind. It was the most adorable and celestial music he had ever heard. He was entranced. It sounded like a call in an unknown, but gentle and enjoyable language. Nevertheless its magnificence it was unattainable for people.
Gregorian suddenly realized he had stopped. He rushed forward along the corridor until he reached a wall. What could he do now? He could not reach the place the sound came from! He turned around and saw a wall behind himself. It was getting closer! He was trapped. He could feel himself stifling because of shock.
Then, he could not believe his luck. A small cold hand held him and pulled him up. He was standing in an oval chamber of white marble. Then it changed in front of him. The marble cracked and it became dark.
Unexpectedly, a monster walked out and opened its horrible mouth…
Suddenly, he woke up and realized it had been a nightmare.
